Conditional logic

Admins can use Conditional Logic when collecting Data from Crew. Conditional logic is used with the Multiple choice Data type when Admin wants to hide or show questions depending on the Crews answers.

In this scenario we are going to ask for a Share code in the Profile Compliance section. Share codes are used in the UK as a personal identifier that proves a worker’s immigration status.

Admin navigates to the Profile Data page, opens the Compliance section, and adds the Data type, Multiple choice.

They add a title, in this case ‘Do you have a Share Code?’ add a description if needed, and a couple of options for Crew to select.

Admin then adds another Data type, the Short answer. This is the Linked field that is going to display if the Crew has a Share code.

Admin adds the field title and access control permissions and clicks the Next button.

Under the ADVANCED SETTINGS tab, Admin toggles the conditional logic button to on and selects to show this field when the answer to the linked field is YES.

The Crew will then be able to input their Share code, if the answer to the previous field was NO, then this field will not show.

Admin closes the pop-in and publishes the changes.

When Crew visit their profile they will see the Share code field in their Compliance section.

If they choose the NO option then the second data field doesn’t display.

If Crew chooses the YES option then the second field displays. Crew would then enter their Share code and SAVE their Data.
